Al-Isra University and the Academy of Financial and Banking Sciences Conclude Joint Practical Training Program

Al-Isra University – Palestine, in cooperation with the Academy of Financial and Banking Sciences, concluded the practical training program for students of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences. The program lasted for several consecutive weeks, aiming to enhance students’ capabilities and refine their practical skills in line with the requirements of the financial and banking labor market.

The program included a series of banking applications at the National Bank affiliated with the Academy of Financial and Banking Sciences, covering areas such as opening bank accounts, cash deposits, creating and granting various types of loans, sending and receiving transfers, and linking and releasing deposits. It also featured hands-on training within an advanced simulated banking environment through the BANKs computerized application at the National Bank, offering participating students a unique opportunity to experience real-world banking operations.

Dr. Samar Atallah, Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, affirmed that this cooperation reflects the university’s commitment to providing an integrated educational environment that combines academic and practical aspects. She noted that such programs contribute to graduating students who are capable of competing in the labor market.

For his part, Dr. Majed Al-Juddi, President of the Academy of Financial and Banking Sciences, praised the level of engagement and commitment demonstrated by the students during the training period, stressing that the academy will continue to support similar initiatives that enhance the competence of young professionals and contribute to economic development.

This program comes as part of Al-Isra University’s and the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences’ interest in the applied practical dimension and their keenness to link theoretical knowledge with real-world practice by providing distinguished field training opportunities inside banking and financial institutions. This contributes to developing students’ professional skills, preparing them for the job market, and strengthening their readiness to face practical challenges after graduation.

At the end of the program, certificates of completion were distributed, and participants expressed their appreciation for this experience, which represented a significant and valuable addition to their educational and professional journey.
