The Faculty of Humanities at Israa University is an academic institution dedicated to advancing human knowledge, promoting scientific research, and preparing a conscious generation equipped with knowledge, values, and the ability to contribute effectively to societal development. Since its establishment in the academic year 2016/2017, the Faculty has been committed to continuously developing its academic programs in line with scientific advancements and societal needs. It currently includes specialized programs in Media and Communication, and English Language with its two tracks: Education and Translation, with ongoing efforts to introduce new academic programs that enhance the Faculty’s leadership in the humanities. In light of the exceptional challenges faced in Gaza, the Faculty reaffirms its steadfast commitment to its educational mission, firmly believing that education and scientific research are fundamental pillars of resilience and future building, and that investing in people is the pathway to development and progress. The Faculty is also committed to improving the quality of education and its outcomes, strengthening scientific research, and expanding academic cooperation at both local and international levels, thereby enhancing knowledge exchange and academic presence. It focuses on preparing graduates who possess strong theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and ethical values, enabling them to excel in various professional fields and contribute to community development and nation-building. The Faculty continues its developmental journey toward academic excellence, keeping pace with scientific and technological advancements, and strengthening its role in serving society and enhancing the educational process.
