Israa University affirms its unwavering commitment to its academic, research, and societal mission despite the unprecedented challenges facing the Palestinian people. The University expresses its solidarity with the people of Gaza and all of Palestine, and calls for an immediate end to the ongoing genocidal war, honoring the martyrs and supporting the wounded, prisoners, and affected families.

Founded in 2014, Israa University has consistently pursued its institutional vision under the guiding principle “Change Toward Professionalism.” The University has established itself as a distinguished higher education institution, achieving measurable progress in teaching, research, and community engagement at the national and international levels.

The University offers a diverse portfolio of accredited academic programs at the diploma, bachelor’s, and master’s levels, approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. It has also obtained the ISO 9001:2015 international quality certification, underscoring its adherence to global standards of academic and administrative excellence.

Israa University has made significant contributions to scientific research through high-quality publications in internationally indexed journals. Its three peer-reviewed journals have achieved recognized international classifications, including indexing in Scopus, and the University continues to expand its research centers, interdisciplinary research teams, and international academic partnerships.

The University’s educational infrastructure, including its main campus and Israa Medical City, was deliberately destroyed by the occupation. These facilities represented advanced academic and medical environments designed to support high-quality education, clinical training, and healthcare services. The destruction also resulted in the loss of laboratories, libraries, and learning resources, as well as the tragic martyrdom of members of the University community.

In alignment with its ethical and social responsibility, Israa University has maintained open access to higher education, particularly for disadvantaged students, through comprehensive scholarship and tuition exemption policies. During the current crisis, the University has continued providing education without tuition fees to ensure academic continuity.

Despite these circumstances, Israa University has sustained its academic operations through electronic learning platforms, ongoing administrative services, and regular publication of its scientific journals.

The University leadership, in partnership with all staff members, reaffirms its determination to rebuild its campuses, resume on-campus education, and advance its strategic objectives in academic excellence, research innovation, and community development.
