Erasmus+ KA171 Student Exchange Scholarship with Spain

The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology announces the opening of applications for the Erasmus+ KA171 student academic exchange scholarship, funded by the European Union, to study at:

Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) – Spain

Scholarship Details:

-   Number of scholarships available: One scholarship for a student.
-   Exchange duration: 5 months (one semester).
-   Exchange period: January – June 2027.
-   Total scholarship funding: €6,080, in accordance with Erasmus+ program allocations.
-   During the exchange period, the student will study courses agreed upon in advance via a "Learning Agreement," ensuring academic recognition of the completed courses upon return, in accordance with university regulations.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

-   Be a registered student at Al-Israa University – Palestine.
-   Have a good academic record.
-   Be able to select suitable courses at UAM that can be credited toward their study plan.
-   Meet the language requirements of the program and the selected courses at the host university.
-   Comply with the requirements and procedures of the Erasmus+ program and UAM throughout the exchange period.

Language Requirements

The primary language of instruction at UAM is Spanish, though a number of courses are available in English. The required language proficiency level varies depending on the program, specialization, and selected courses.

Required Documents

-   Curriculum Vitae (CV).     Academic transcript.
    Proof of enrollment at Al-Israa University.
    Motivation letter (in English).
    Language proficiency certificate (if available).
    Copy of passport (if available).

Selection Process

Applications will be evaluated based on academic criteria and through fair, transparent procedures, in accordance with Erasmus+ principles regarding equal opportunities.

A primary candidate and a reserve candidate will be selected to proceed with the nomination process and coordination with the host university.

Application Deadline

Thursday, September 24, 2026.

Students wishing to apply for the scholarship are requested to submit their applications and required documents no later than the date specified above.

Please note that the deadline for submitting nominations from Al-Israa University to the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) is September 30, 2026.
