Gaza – Public Relations
Representatives of the Faculty of Law at Al-Israa University participated via video conference in a workshop organized by Birzeit University on mechanisms for building justice institutions in the Gaza Strip and reconstructing the judicial system in the region, with the participation of a distinguished group of academics and legal experts.
The university delegation included Dr. Tareq Al-Derawi, representing the Faculty of Law, along with Dr. Abdel Qader Jarada.
During his online participation, Dr. Tareq Al-Derawi delivered an intervention in which he emphasized the need to establish mechanisms that ensure the swift functioning of the judiciary in Gaza after the war, guaranteeing its independence and impartiality. He also highlighted the importance of developing institutional structures and strengthening public trust in the justice system.
This participation reflects Al-Israa University’s commitment to effective engagement with academic institutions and its contribution to national discussions on developing and rebuilding the justice sector in the post-war phase.
