Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences Inspects Field Training Students at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital

As part of the continuous efforts to enhance students' practical skills, the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Dr. Talib Abu Maala, conducted an inspection tour at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. The visit aimed to monitor the progress of field training programs and evaluate the clinical experience of students within the healthcare facilities.

The tour focused on evaluating the implementation of approved training plans and ensuring that the practical environment meets the standards necessary to refine students' skills. This aligns with the rapid developments in the health sector and the evolving demands of the labor market.

During his visit, Dr. Abu Maala met with groups of student interns across various departments, listening to their feedback and observations regarding their field experience. The meeting featured an open discussion on the key administrative and academic challenges facing the students. The Dean pledged to work immediately on overcoming these obstacles in coordination with the hospital administration and relevant authorities.

In a statement during the visit, Dr. Abu Maala emphasized several key points:

  • Priority of Integration: The necessity of establishing a close link between theoretical courses and clinical practice to ensure high-quality educational outcomes.
  • Continuous Support: The faculty’s commitment to accompanying students in the field and providing the necessary technical and moral support throughout their training period.
  • Academic Quality: These visits are a core part of the Deanship’s strategy to improve graduate efficiency and enhance the overall quality of the educational process.

"Our primary goal is to graduate medical cadres capable of excellence in the field from day one. This can only be achieved through rigorous follow-up and the provision of an ideal training environment.

This tour is part of a series of periodic visits conducted by the Faculty Deanship to ensure continuous development and to elevate the professional standards of its students across various health institutions.
