As part of practical courses aimed at developing professional skills, first-year Bachelor of Nursing students conducted an in-person training session within the course Fundamentals of Nursing (1) – Practical, supervised by lecturer Dr. Taleb Abu Mualla. The training focused on mastering the measurement and monitoring of essential vital signs.
The training included hands-on practice in measuring blood pressure, body temperature, respiratory rate, and pulse. Students were trained to use medical equipment accurately and to record and interpret results in accordance with approved nursing standards.
This training comes as part of preparing and qualifying students to effectively engage in clinical settings by enhancing their ability to accurately assess patients’ health conditions and apply appropriate nursing interventions based on scientific and professional principles.
Such practical training highlights the importance of integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application, contributing to the preparation of qualified nursing professionals capable of meeting the healthcare sector’s needs efficiently and competently.
