Vision and Mission

About Academic Affairs

Academic Affairs grounds its work in the vision of Israa University, which strives for leadership and distinction in science, knowledge, and scientific research at the national, regional, and international levels to contribute to development and progress. Academic Affairs works to provide an appropriate academic environment to enhance students' educational journey and develop the capabilities and skills of academic staff, actively contributing to achieving the desired goals. It plays a key role in the process of planning, development, and target achievement through the university's faculties, deanships, departments, and academic centers.

 Distinction in academic affairs through continuous enhancement of academic work standards, elevating the university to the highest global rankings.

Mission

Striving for the continuous improvement of the educational process through high-quality academic programs, and working to provide a suitable learning environment, a distinguished academic staff, as well as top-level curricula and scientific/training laboratories. These efforts aim to qualify students academically and practically in effective alignment with the evolving needs of the labor market. Academic Affairs also seeks to advance scientific research to serve both the university and the community.

Objectives

1.     Enhance existing academic programs in line with international quality standards.

2.     Accredit new academic programs across all levels to fulfill the needs of society and the local market.

3.     Develop systems, regulations, and procedures for Academic Affairs to achieve distinction and leadership.

4.     Continuously advance the capabilities and skills of the academic staff.

5.     Encourage entrepreneurial initiatives and projects that serve academic work at the university.

6.     Develop educational technology and e-learning in accordance with the latest international standards.

7.     Promote scientific research along with its systems and procedures to contribute to serving the community and the university.

8.     Upgrade scientific and research laboratories to serve both students and academic staff.

9.     Strengthen the role of curricular and extracurricular activities in building students' scientific and practical capabilities.

10.  Encourage academic, scientific, and research exchange with international educational institutions.

11.  Enhance communication and joint cooperation with local and international organizations.

12.  Develop student services and provide all necessary resources to ensure a suitable learning environment.
