Gaza – Public Relations
The Faculty of Medical Professions at Al-Isra University participated in the ceremony for the opening and handover of the field hospital at the Nasser Medical Complex, affiliated with the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The project was implemented with funding from Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières), and the event was attended by Dr. Talib Abu Ma‘la, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, and Mr. Atta Al-Jazzar.
This participation comes as part of Al-Isra University’s commitment to strengthening its community role, supporting the health sector, and contributing to humanitarian and medical efforts aimed at serving our people, especially in light of the current health and humanitarian conditions.
Participants emphasized the importance of cooperation between academic institutions and humanitarian and international organizations, given its positive impact on enhancing health services and developing the capacities of the medical sector, thereby helping to alleviate patients’ suffering and meet urgent needs.
