English Language Department – Translation Track

The Translation Track is a specialized academic stream within the English Language Department at the Faculty of Humanities, Israa University. It aims to prepare competent translators with advanced proficiency in both Arabic and English, as well as strong command of modern translation technologies. The program focuses on developing skills in various types of translation, including written and simultaneous interpretation, as well as academic, technical, and media translation. It also enhances students’ linguistic analysis abilities and cultural awareness across different contexts. The track prepares graduates to work in translation agencies, media institutions, international organizations, and research centers, while maintaining linguistic accuracy, professional standards, and ethical translation practices.
