Student Affairs Holds Meeting with Nursing Students to Organize Volunteer Work Mechanisms

The Student Affairs Department at Isra University held a meeting with students from the Nursing Department at the university’s campus in Gaza, as part of efforts to strengthen student volunteer work and organize initiatives and activities during the coming period.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Mustafa Diab, Director of the Student Affairs Department, and Dr. Ehab Abu Al-Khair, Director of Public Relations.
Mr. Diab emphasized that volunteer work provides an important opportunity to develop university students’ personalities and strengthen their spirit of initiative, responsibility, and sense of belonging. He noted that the coming period will witness greater organization of volunteer efforts, ensuring student participation through clear mechanisms and purposeful programs that serve both the university and the community.
For his part, Dr. Abu Al-Khair highlighted the distinctive talents and capabilities of nursing students, which can be utilized in community and humanitarian initiatives. He stressed the importance of integration between the Student Affairs Department and students in implementing high-quality volunteer activities that reflect the university’s mission and its role in the community.
The meeting discussed a number of arrangements for the upcoming period, including organizing volunteer teams, identifying areas of participation, assigning tasks, establishing coordination and follow-up mechanisms, and preparing a program of upcoming initiatives and activities. These efforts aim to make effective use of students’ capabilities and strengthen their role in serving the community.
The attendees affirmed that volunteer work is not merely a university activity, but rather a humanitarian and national experience that contributes to building students’ character, developing their skills, strengthening their ability to work as a team, fostering responsibility, and enabling them to make a meaningful impact.
