Al-Israa University Discusses a Master’s Thesis in Business Administration on Job Satisfaction

Al-Israa University discussed a master’s thesis in the Business Administration program entitled “The Impact of Applying Visual Management on Improving the Level of Job Satisfaction among Employees of the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility,” submitted by researcher Mohammad Zuhair Yousef Al-Masri. The discussion was held electronically via the Zoom platform, in the presence of the examination and judging committee, as well as a number of academics and interested attendees.

The examination and judging committee consisted of Dr. Ahmad Ismail Al-Hassaina as the primary supervisor and chair of the committee, Dr. Mohammad Joudat Fares as the second supervisor, Dr. Samar Rajab Atta Allah as the internal examiner, and Dr. Mohammad Mansour Abu Jalil, Associate Professor of Business Administration at Philadelphia University, Amman, Jordan, as the external examiner.

The discussion session was attended by Dr. Muniya Khalil Mazeed, Dean of Graduate Studies, and Dr. Samar Atta Allah, Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences.

The study aimed to identify the extent to which visual management strategies are applied and to measure their impact on the level of job satisfaction among employees of the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility. The researcher used the descriptive-analytical approach to achieve the objectives of the study. The study population consisted of all employees working at the utility, totaling 313 employees.

The study concluded with a set of recommendations, most notably the need for the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility to periodically update work regulations to keep pace with changes, train employees on rationalizing resource consumption through courses and workshops, provide incentives for outstanding initiatives and efforts exerted by employees, and adopt clear standards of competence among staff.

It is worth noting that the College of Graduate Studies at Al-Israa University awards master’s degrees in the fields of Business Administration, Law, and Accounting and Finance Sciences.
