The ceremony was attended by the University President, Professor Dr. Alaa Matar; Vice President for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Nahid Hijazi; Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Munther Azzam; Director of the Student Affairs Department, Mr. Mustafa Diab; several members of the academic and administrative staff; and the graduates’ families. He added: “Today, we are not simply awarding certificates; we are renewing a commitment, opening doors of hope for our graduates, and affirming that their dreams deserve protection and that their right to education will remain a trust for which we are responsible.” Professor Dr. Matar reaffirmed the university’s continued support for its students, stating: “We will not allow, within the limits of our capabilities, poverty to become the end of a dream, war to become a barrier to education, or years of struggle to be lost before those who have worked so hard can reap the fruits of their efforts.” In a speech on behalf of the graduates, graduate Leila Salmi expressed her appreciation for this initiative, describing it as an important milestone in their lives. She praised the efforts of the university and its administration in resolving their academic documentation issues and issuing their certificates.
