The University of Israa Discusses a Master’s Thesis on the Impact of E-Learning in Enhancing Institutional Excellence in Private Palestinian Universities

The University of Israa in Gaza discussed the master’s thesis of Business Administration student Mohamed Hamza Al-Turkamani, via Zoom, titled:

“The Impact of E-Learning on Enhancing Institutional Excellence in Private Palestinian Universities.”

The examination committee consisted of:

  1. Dr. Samar Rajab Atallah – Supervisor and Chair
  2. Dr. Alaa Al-Din Khalil Al-Sayed – Supervisor
  3. Prof. Ali Abdullah Shaheen – Internal Examiner
  4. Dr. Ismail Abdullah Qasem – External Examiner

The session was attended by Dr. Muniya Khalil Mazeed, Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hassaina, Vice President for External Affairs, along with several faculty and administrative staff members who participated in support of the student.

The study aimed to examine the impact of e-learning on enhancing institutional excellence in private Palestinian universities. The researcher adopted the descriptive–analytical method and based the study on a population consisting of lecturers at Israa University, Palestine University, and Gaza University from various academic ranks (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Lecturer). The total study population reached 683 academics.

The study presented several recommendations, most notably:

  1. Distributing educational content across the academic weeks in a way that aligns with the available time,
  2. Providing a stable physical environment for e-learning,
  3. Selecting faculty members for e-learning based on clear competency standards,
  4. Adopting a public vision within private universities aimed at excellence in the use of e-learning.

At the end of the session, the committee recommended awarding the student the Master’s degree after completing the required revisions, wishing him continued success.

The Graduate Studies College at the University of Israa offers master’s degrees in Business Administration, Law, and Accounting & Finance Sciences.
