Al-Israa University Conducts Interviews for Palestine’s First Diploma Program in “MEAL”

The Deanship of Graduate Studies at Al-Israa University conducted admission interviews for applicants to the Higher Diploma in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL), the first program of its kind to be offered by Palestinian universities. The program aims to meet an urgent need in both the local and international labor markets.
The interviews were held online in the presence of a committee that included Dr. Munya Mazid, Dean of Graduate Studies; Dr. Samar Attallah, Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences; Dr. Ahmed Al-Hassaina, Vice President for External Affairs; Dr. Mohammed Abu Yousef, Head of the Accounting Department; and Dr. Ramez Hassouna, Head of the Business Administration Department. The interviews aimed to select the most qualified and capable students to pursue this advanced specialization.
In this context, Dr. Mazid emphasized that launching this strategic program reflects the University’s vision and its ongoing commitment to keeping pace with the latest professional and academic developments. She noted that the Higher Diploma in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning represents a significant and distinctive addition to the Palestinian academic landscape. The program aims to prepare a qualified and professional generation of specialists capable of accurately and professionally assessing the effectiveness of development and humanitarian projects, thereby contributing to improving the level of institutional performance in Palestine.
