Gaza – Public Relations
Al-Israa University discussed a master’s thesis in the Business Administration program entitled “Social Media and Its Impact on Improving the Mental Image of Al-Quds Today Satellite Channel”, presented by researcher Salah Ziad Fouad Al-Madhoun. The discussion was held online via Google Meet on Sunday morning, in the presence of the examination and evaluation committee, along with a number of academics and interested attendees.

The examination and evaluation committee consisted of Dr. Kholoud Atiya Al-Fleet as supervisor and chairperson, Dr. Mohammad Nafeth Farawneh as supervisor, Dr. Hossam Al-Din Khalil Harb as internal examiner, and Dr. Mansour Abdul Qader Mansour as external examiner.

The discussion session was attended by Dr. Munya Khalil Mazeed, Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Samar Attaallah, Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Dr. Monther Azzam, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Dr. Ihab Abu Al-Khair, Director of Public Relations.

The study aimed to identify the level of availability and use of social media platforms—Facebook, YouTube, X platform (formerly known as Twitter), and Instagram—at Al-Quds Today Satellite Channel, as well as to examine the current state of the channel’s mental image.

The study concluded with several recommendations, most notably the need for Al-Quds Today Satellite Channel to create engaging Facebook content that encourages followers to interact through likes, comments, and shares, and the importance of ensuring that the channel’s posts on the X platform reflect its advanced political awareness and professional standards.

It is worth noting that the College of Graduate Studies at Al-Israa University awards master’s degrees in the specializations of Business Administration, Law, and Accounting and Finance Sciences.
