Al-Israa University – Palestine announced the extension of the deadline for receiving research abstracts for its 17th International Scientific Conference, entitled:
“From the Heart of Destruction to Recovery and Reconstruction: Higher Education as a Technological Bridge for Innovation and Building Sustainable Communities,”
to January 10, 2026, instead of the previously announced date.
This extension comes in response to requests from a number of researchers and academics, and aims to provide a broader opportunity for scientific participation in the conference, which is scheduled to be held in person and online on March 27–28, 2026, in Gaza City, in partnership with Birzeit University, the جيل Research Center, and the London Centre for Social Research and Consultancy.
The Conference Presidency, headed by Dr. Munya Mazeed, Dean of Graduate Studies at Al-Israa University, affirmed that the extension aligns with the conference’s vision of enhancing high-quality research participation and highlighting the role of higher education and technology in recovery, reconstruction, and the building of sustainable communities amid the major challenges facing the region.
The Scientific Committee clarified that research abstracts should be submitted via email to: confsec.isug@gmail.com, noting that the deadline for submitting final papers remains unchanged on February 15, 2026.
The conference represents an important scientific milestone that brings together local, Arab, and international researchers and experts. It also serves as an intellectual platform seeking to transform academic knowledge into a real driver of national recovery, conveying a clear message that higher education is one of the most vital tools for rising from the rubble toward a more sustainable and innovative future.
