Accounting Department at Al-Isra University Concludes Graduation Research and Field Training Discussions for Summer Semester Students

The Accounting Department at the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences at Al-Isra University in Palestine has concluded the discussions of students’ graduation research projects, along with the evaluation of internal and external field training activities and reports for students enrolled in the Summer Semester of the 2025–2026 academic year. This comes as part of the Department’s commitment to strengthening the integration between academic knowledge and practical application and aligning educational outcomes with the requirements of the labor market.
The graduation research discussions were conducted electronically via Google Meet, with the participation of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Samar Atallah; Head of the Accounting Department, Dr. Mohammad Salem Abu Yousef; as well as faculty members serving as supervisors and members of the discussion committees.
The graduation research projects addressed a range of contemporary accounting and financial issues, most notably the role of cloud accounting in reducing information asymmetry among companies listed on the Palestine Exchange, and the impact of strategic management accounting techniques in supporting financial flexibility amid exchange rate fluctuations among industrial companies listed on the exchange. These topics reflect the students’ interest in emerging issues relevant to the accounting and economic environment.
In the same context, the Department completed the discussion sessions for students’ internal and external field training activities and reports. These training experiences provided students with opportunities to apply their academic knowledge in real-world work environments at a number of public and private sector institutions, despite the challenging and complex circumstances. The experience contributed to familiarizing students with the nature of accounting work and its practical applications, developing their professional skills, and enhancing their readiness to enter the labor market.
The discussion committees commended the academic and professional level demonstrated by the students in their graduation research projects and field training reports, highlighting their ability to apply their academic knowledge to both research and practical aspects and to benefit from the experience and skills gained during their training period.
For her part, Dr. Samar Atallah praised the efforts of the students, faculty members, and supervisors, emphasizing the importance of such discussions in developing students’ research and practical capabilities and strengthening the integration of academic knowledge with practical application, thereby contributing to preparing graduates who are better equipped for the labor market.
In turn, Dr. Abu Yousef, Head of the Accounting Department, congratulated the students on their achievements and commended the efforts of the faculty members, supervisors, and discussion committee members. He emphasized the importance of integrating academic education with practical training in preparing graduates who possess the scientific knowledge and professional skills necessary to engage effectively in the labor market and respond to its evolving needs and challenges.
