Al-Israa University Organizes an Expanded Scientific Meeting to Enhance Academic and Research Communication Mechanisms

The College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, in cooperation with the Deanship of Graduate Studies at Al-Israa University in Palestine, organized an expanded scientific meeting on Thursday, May 7, at the university campus in Mawasi Khan Younis. The meeting was titled: “Academic Communication and Supervision Forum: Towards an Effective Partnership Between Student and Lecturer.”
The meeting witnessed broad attendance, including the Head of the Accounting and Finance Department, Dr. Mohammad Salem Abu Yusuf, and the Head of the Business Administration Department, Dr. Ramez Hassouna, along with representatives from the Deanship of Graduate Studies and the Quality Unit, a number of faculty members and researchers, and a group of graduate students from the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences.
The meeting aimed to establish a clear practical framework for developing communication mechanisms among all components of the academic system, including students, lecturers, researchers, and supervisors, in a way that ensures a smooth educational process and creates a research environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
Through interactive and in-depth discussions, the meeting addressed several key themes related to strengthening academic communication. These included activating modern digital tools and e-learning platforms as official and rapid communication channels, setting clear protocols for academic guidance and research supervision to ensure the quality of scientific outputs, and enhancing direct communication between students and faculty members to improve academic achievement.
Dr. Samar Atta Allah, Dean of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, emphasized in her speech the importance of this meeting in bridging the gap between the theoretical and practical aspects of university communication systems. She praised the role of the “Scholars Without Borders” organization and the supportive academic environment provided by the university campus, as well as the facilities offered to ensure the success of such meetings.
The meeting concluded with several practical recommendations, most notably the adoption of integrated and smart communication tools that align with the university’s digital transformation, as well as the formation of follow-up committees to ensure the continuity and sustainable development of this interaction.
At the end of the event, attendees expressed their appreciation for the excellent organization, affirming that such scientific meetings, supported by the university presidency, enhance Al-Israa University’s status as an academic institution that continuously strives to develop its tools and advance its staff and students.
