Al-Israa University Publishes the 12th and 13th Issues of Its Journal of Applied Sciences (IUJAS)

Al-Israa University – Palestine announced the release of the 12th and 13th issues of the Israa University Journal of Applied Sciences (IUJAS), as part of its continued academic excellence and growing international presence. The journal has also maintained its progress in global rankings such as Scopus and SCImago (SJR), achieving a CiteScore impact factor of 1.1.
The April 2026 issue (Issue 12) includes a distinguished collection of original and diverse scientific research contributed by researchers from Arab and international institutions, reflecting the journal’s expanding global reach. The published studies cover a wide range of disciplines, أبرزها biotechnology, chemistry, pharmacy, medicine, nursing, public health, physics, artificial intelligence, mathematics, in addition to other applied scientific fields.
The journal also released Issue 13 (a special issue in biotechnology), which focuses on specialized research in biotechnology and biochemistry. This issue features a selection of advanced scientific studies addressing modern challenges and innovative applications in these vital fields, further strengthening the journal’s role in supporting high-quality and specialized research.
Commenting on this achievement, Dr. Abdel Fattah Qarman, Editor-in-Chief of the journal and Dean of Scientific Research and Libraries at Al-Israa University, stated that the journal continues its strategy of scientific and qualitative expansion by attracting outstanding research that links applied knowledge with community needs. He emphasized that the journal’s continuous progress in global rankings reflects the confidence of researchers and academic institutions worldwide.
He also noted that the journal adheres to the highest standards of quality and transparency in scientific publishing, with all research undergoing rigorous peer review. Additionally, ongoing efforts are being made to develop the editorial board and attract international scientific expertise to keep pace with the growing scope of publication fields.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Al-Masri, Head of the Scientific Journals Department, confirmed that the department is continuously working on enhancing the journal’s digital infrastructure. This includes updating the electronic platform and integrating modern technologies, such as AI-powered tools to support the peer review process, improving efficiency, speed, and the overall quality of publication.
The editorial board extended its gratitude to all editors, reviewers, and researchers who contributed to the success of these two issues, affirming its continued reception of scientific research through its online platform.
The board also announced that work is currently underway to complete Issue 14, scheduled for release in October 2026, as the journal continues to advance in global rankings and strengthen its position as a leading international scientific journal.
