All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the Prophet, the martyr, a prophet we follow and whose path we trace until the Day of Judgment. It is my pleasure and honor to serve our people through our leading university in my capacity as Vice President for Academic Affairs, believing that education is the fundamental pillar for building a better future for our homeland and our youth. At Israa University in Palestine, we always strive to provide a stimulating educational environment that supports creativity and innovation, built on the foundations of quality and academic excellence. Our people have endured, and our university continues to face, difficult circumstances amid the war and the significant challenges it has imposed on students and academic staff. Despite all this, our university has proven its resilience, continuing its educational mission and delivering knowledge under the most difficult conditions, as we believe that investing in education during these times is not merely an option, but a duty and responsibility toward future generations, a mission we carry forward with steadfastness and determination. We did not wait for the genocide to end before rising again; Israa University in Palestine set out from the very first months of the war to continue giving and building—not just building stones, but building hope and shaping the future for our students and our people, despite the complete destruction of the university buildings and its medical city. We work hand in hand with all colleges and academic departments to develop curricula, enhance scientific research, and empower students to acquire skills that meet the evolving demands of the job market. Our vision is to build a generation capable of bearing the burdens of the coming phase toward building a nation from beneath the rubble and wounds, a nation filled with prosperity, stability, and security, and to prepare graduates who can positively impact their communities and compete at both local and global levels, regardless of the circumstances. We ask Allah for success and guidance in serving this academic institution, and for the continuation of our journey of development and advancement toward greater excellence, and for peace to prevail in our homeland so that education may grow and flourish.
