Al-Israa University conducted a tour of media institutions aimed at enhancing collaboration between the university and media organizations. This initiative supports the university’s broader objectives, particularly benefiting students of the Journalism and Media Technology Department. The delegation included Dr. Asmaa Al-Shaqaqi, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities; Dr. Rafat Al-Hoor, Director of the Public Relations Department; and Ms. Rawaan Abu Foul from Public Relations. The team visited several media institutions, including the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, the Press House, and the PalMedia Foundation. The visit addressed key topics such as external training opportunities for media students, media coverage of university events, and highlighting the university’s community services as part of its social responsibility. Dr. Rafat Al-Hoor expressed gratitude to these media institutions for their continuous support and cooperation, particularly in covering university activities and supporting students. Dr. Asmaa Al-Shaqaqi emphasized the importance of such visits, describing them as a vital pillar for collaboration in providing journalism students with practical training. She stressed that these efforts aim to develop students' media skills and prepare them for the job market. This tour follows previous visits as part of an ongoing plan by the Public Relations Department in coordination with the Faculty of Humanities to strengthen partnerships with media and press institutions.
