Al-Isra University in Gaza Publishes the Ninth Issue of the International University Journal of Applied Sciences (IUJAS)

Al-Isra University - Palestine has released the ninth issue of the International University Journal of Applied Sciences (IUJAS), featuring a collection of valuable scientific papers addressing specialized topics in applied sciences, energy, health sciences, and engineering. Dr. Abdul Fattah Qarman, the journal’s editor-in-chief, stated: "Publishing this issue under such dire circumstances serves as a message of defiance against attempts to undermine the education of the Palestinian people. It also supports the journal’s qualitative advancement on a global level, as it has been upgraded to Q3 and achieved an Impact Factor Score (IFS) of 0.96." Dr. Qarman emphasized that the journal has gained a prestigious reputation among researchers, being indexed in the global Scopus database, which reflects the high quality of the published research and the professionalism of its editorial board. He noted that the journal maintains a regular biannual publication schedule in April and October, even amid this year’s challenges, which did not deter the team from releasing it in accordance with scientific quality standards. Dr. Qarman also mentioned that the journal has begun accepting submissions for the first issue of Volume 8 on its new website, set to be published in April 2025. He highlighted the editorial board’s continuous efforts to elevate the journal’s standing in global rankings and their commitment to improving performance and accepting high-quality research. For his part, Dr. Ahmed Al-Masri, head of the Scientific Journals Council at Al-Isra University, commended the support provided by the university’s administration and the dedicated efforts of the editorial board and reviewers in publishing this issue. He expressed gratitude to researchers from Palestine and abroad who have enriched the journal with their outstanding contributions. It is worth noting that Al-Isra University Journal of Applied Sciences (IUJAS) is indexed in the Scopus database under the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN: 2523-052) and Digital Object Identifier (DOI prefix: 10.52865). It is also classified in UNESCO’s ROAD directory and several other global databases.
