📌 Al-Israa University Concludes the "Support Your Homeland" Project for Graduates in Health Specializations

Al-Israa University - Palestine has concluded the "Support Your Homeland" project, which involved releasing the diplomas of health specialization graduates in exchange for their volunteer work in health institutions operating in the northern and southern Gaza Strip. The project was generously funded by the International Islamic Charitable Organization from the sister state of Kuwait. The project included the release of diplomas for 162 male and female graduates in health specializations at the university, including (Medical Laboratory Sciences, Clinical Psychology, Nursing, and Pharmacy Assistant). Dr. Alaa Matar, Acting President of the university, praised this initiative, which comes amid the difficult circumstances Gaza is enduring due to aggression, destruction, and genocide. He expressed his deep gratitude to the International Islamic Charitable Organization for its significant efforts in releasing students' diplomas and supporting the resilience of the Palestinian people on their land, ensuring their right to access healthcare services. Dr. Matar emphasized that this step comes as support and reinforcement for our Palestinian people through the voluntary provision of healthcare services by male and female graduates in various health institutions, especially as the genocide war continues and there is an urgent need for medical teams in the field to assist and strengthen the healthcare system—hence the project's name, "Support Your Homeland." He also called on international supporting entities to follow the approach of the International Islamic Charitable Organization and provide support to Palestinian universities to enable them to achieve their goals and advance in their academic and administrative journeys, particularly given the destruction these universities have faced—including Al-Israa University, whose buildings were completely destroyed by Israeli occupation forces.
