Al-Isra University Students Continue Their Training in Various Fields of Work

Despite the difficulties and challenges they face, field training students at Al-Isra University—Palestine continue to complete their training periods in active local and international institutions in the Gaza Strip. In line with its national responsibility, the university supports its soon-to-graduate students in medical and nursing specializations by placing them in hospitals, health centers, medical points, and clinics. This aims to assist medical staff and address shortages amid the crisis plaguing the health sector. The university has also facilitated student involvement in relief and humanitarian work groups with local and international organizations, aligning with its vision and role in community service and contributing to emergency humanitarian response efforts in Gaza. On the media coverage front of the genocide war, students from the English Language and Journalism, Media, and Communication Technology departments continue to document the war’s developments and convey the voice of truth to the entire world. For his part, Dr. Alaa Matar, Acting President of the University, emphasized the university’s pioneering role in enhancing relief and humanitarian work amid the war and its catastrophic repercussions. Dr. Matar stated that since its establishment, the university has focused on building human capacity, and today it takes pride in its students' widespread successes in serving their people, homeland, and nation on the ground. He added that the destruction of the university’s buildings and facilities will only strengthen its determination to continue its path of excellence in science, knowledge, and scientific research. Dr. Matar also extended his deepest gratitude to all institutions that hosted students and provided them with suitable training environments, urging students to seize this opportunity to gain more experience in their respective applied fields.
