The journal issued by the Deanship of Scientific Research at Al-Isra University – Palestine ranked seventh among the top ten Arab journals in the field of literature and humanities with interdisciplinary specializations, according to the 'ARCIF' classification for 2025.
Al-Isra University’s ranking comes among 252 journals at the Arab level, according to the 'ARCIF' classification, which is considered one of the most prominent Arab classifications for peer-reviewed academic journals
. Dr. Munya Mazid, Dean of Scientific Research and Editor-in-Chief of the journal, emphasized that this advancement in the ARCIF ranking is the result of continuous efforts made by the editorial board, along with the ongoing support from the university administration for sustained excellence in scientific research, believing that scientific research is a hallmark of distinction and creativity.
She pointed out that since its establishment, the Journal of Humanities has been keen to adopt rigorous scientific publishing standards, adhere to the ethics of academic research, and attract high-quality research with both scientific and humanitarian significance that contributes to the development of knowledge in multiple fields.
On his part, the University President, Professor Dr. Alaa Mater, expressed his pride in this achievement, emphasizing that it comes at a difficult time witnessing significant challenges in the field of scientific research and academic publishing.
He pointed out that this ranking reflects the university's excellence and the competencies of its academic and editorial staff, and embodies its commitment to developing scientific research and enhancing the quality of knowledge production.
