Call for Applications for the PSSAR Match Program – September 2026 Session
The Deanship of Scientific Research and Libraries at Al-Israa University – Palestine, in cooperation with the Palestinian Students and Researchers at Risk Network (PSSAR), and in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently signed between the two parties, announces the opening of applications for the PSSAR Match Program for fully funded scholarships to pursue Master's and PhD degrees at top Canadian universities, starting in September 2026.
The PSSAR Network emphasizes that the program supports Palestinian higher education, not the emigration of skilled professionals, but rather academic return.
The program's mission is to strengthen higher education in Palestine by encouraging scientific research, developing academic collaboration, enhancing supervisory and leadership skills, and ensuring the reintegration of researchers into Palestinian universities after graduation.
🔷 Program Scope
The program is dedicated to research-based graduate programs (thesis-based) only, across various disciplines.
Ineligible: Course-based programs and professional degrees such as:
Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Marketing, Management, and Business Administration.
🔷 Eligibility Requirements
First: Master's Degree Application
1. Bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 85%.
2. Graduates of 2023, 2024, or 2025.
Second: Doctoral Degree Application
1. Master's degree with a minimum GPA of 85%.
2. Graduates of 2023, 2024, or 2025.
Common Requirements
Graduates must be from a Palestinian university.
Resides in Palestine.
Fluent in English.
Bachelor's degree must have been taught in English.
🔷 Selection Priority
Priority will be given to candidates who possess:
1. At least one year of experience as a university teaching assistant.
2. At least one year of research experience.
3. A proven record of volunteer work in academic or educational initiatives within Palestine.
