A delegation from Al-Israa University visited the Journalists Syndicate as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions and explore opportunities for partnership in academic, training, and media-related fields.
The university delegation included Dr. Ihab Abu Al-Khair, Director of Public Relations; Dr. Hossam Harb, Dean of Admissions and Registration; Dr. Basel Al-Sheikh, Dean of the Faculty of Intermediate Studies; and Mr. Mustafa Diab, Director of Student Affairs.
The delegation was received by Dr. Ahed Farwana, Secretary-General of the Journalists Syndicate, who welcomed the visitors and emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between academic and professional institutions in ways that contribute to developing students’ capabilities and preparing them for the labor market.
The Al-Israa University delegation praised the national and professional role played by the Journalists Syndicate, commending its efforts in supporting the media and journalism sector. They also stressed the importance of continuing joint cooperation, particularly in providing students of the Faculty of Humanities with opportunities to benefit from field-training programs and practical placements that help develop their professional and technical skills.
For his part, Dr. Ahed Farwana praised Al-Israa University’s achievements in offering distinguished academic programs and producing highly qualified graduates. He affirmed the Syndicate’s commitment to continuing cooperation with the university in ways that serve students and enhance the quality of educational and training outcomes.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed the importance of strengthening their partnership and maintaining ongoing coordination to achieve shared goals and contribute to serving students and the wider community.
