Al-Israa University Finalizes Preparations to Host the "First Al-Israa Football Tennis Championship"

Al-Israa University - Public Relations The preparatory committee for Al-Israa University's first football tennis championship finalized its preparations on Saturday to launch the tournament on the university’s fields on Monday, February 12, 2022, under the supervision of the Palestinian Football Tennis Federation and in cooperation with the Palestinian Federation of Sports for All and Traditional Games. The preparatory committee held its meeting at the university’s headquarters in Al-Zahra City, attended by: Mr. Ata Al-Jazzar, Director of Student Affairs Eng. Ihab Abu Al-Khair, Head of the Student Activities Department and Vice President of the Palestinian Federation of Sports for All Captain Ahmed Aweida, President of the Football Tennis Federation Captain Ahmed Al-Kurd, Federation member and head of the technical committee Media representative Fawzi Hammouda, member of the preparatory committee Mr. Al-Jazzar stressed the importance of supporting various sports activities, as they enhance students' physical and mental skills, affirming the department’s commitment to organizing multiple sports tournaments. He extended his thanks to the Football Tennis Federation and the Sports for All Federation for their cooperation. For his part, Eng. Abu Al-Khair noted that this tournament is part of the integrated plan set by the Student Activities Department, which aims to organize numerous sports competitions. He thanked the university administration for its continuous support for all sports events and activities, urging students to register and participate in the championship. Meanwhile, Captain Aweida and federation members praised Al-Israa University’s outstanding efforts, particularly in promoting sports activities. He highlighted that this is the first tournament of its kind at the Palestinian university level, reflecting the university’s excellence and the dedication of its staff, expressing hopes for a "strong and high-quality" championship.
