Success Marks Al-Israa University's First Football Tennis Championship
Al-Israa University successfully concluded its inaugural football tennis championship for students on Monday, following an exciting final match held at the university's main stadium in Al-Zahra City. The closing ceremony and award presentation were attended by: Prof. Abdul Khaliq Al-Farra, University President Dr. Ahmed Al-Hasayneh, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs Representatives from the Football Tennis Federation and the Sports for All Federation The tournament witnessed remarkable student engagement and intense competition among participating teams, culminating in a final showdown between Bab Al-Amoud and Bab Al-Asbat teams. Bab Al-Amoud claimed victory with a decisive 2-0 win. In his address, Prof. Al-Farra emphasized the university's strong support for extracurricular and sports activities as vital components of student development. He extended gratitude to partner federations and all contributors to the championship's success. The University President congratulated the champions of this first-ever football tennis tournament, highlighting that such events strengthen student bonds. He announced plans for more sports tournaments in the coming period. The winning team received the first-place trophy, while the organizing committee was honored for their exceptional efforts.
