Al-Israa University Releases the Ninth Issue of the Scientific Conferences Journal
Al-Israa University, represented by the Deanship of Scientific Research and Libraries, has announced the release of the ninth issue of the Al-Israa University Journal of Scientific Conferences. This issue comes as a special scientific edition featuring research papers from the International Scientific Conference titled: “Technical and Vocational Education and Training Between Current Challenges and Future Prospects.” This step reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of scientific research and academic publishing.
In this context, Dr. Abdel Fattah Qarman, Editor-in-Chief of the journal and Dean of Scientific Research and Libraries, stated that this issue represents an extension of the university’s efforts to develop specialized scientific publishing platforms. He emphasized that the journal operates وفق the highest standards of peer review and seeks to expand its academic presence, with a focus on applied research that serves society and supports sustainable development pathways, particularly in the fields of education and technical training.
Dr. Qarman also expressed his sincere appreciation to the participating researchers for their valuable scientific contributions, to the reviewers for their meticulous efforts in evaluating the research, and to the editorial board members and all those involved in technical supervision and production for their dedicated work in presenting this issue in a distinguished scientific format.
For his part, the University President, Prof. Dr. Alaa Matar, affirmed that the release of this issue aligns with Al-Israa University’s strategic vision to develop its scientific journals and elevate them وفق international publishing standards, thereby strengthening its academic presence and competitiveness at both regional and international levels.
Prof. Dr. Matar noted that the university publishes three leading scientific journals that continue to achieve notable accomplishments. The Al-Israa University Journal of Applied Sciences has advanced to the third quartile (Q3) in Scopus, while the Al-Israa University Journal of Humanities ranked seventh in the Arab world in the “Arcif” classification for 2025, in addition to the Scientific Conferences Journal, which contributes to promoting the dissemination of research knowledge. He emphasized that these achievements reflect the university’s commitment to advancing scientific publishing and fostering a productive and impactful research environment.
This issue represents a valuable addition to the university’s academic record and strengthens its role as an active academic institution in supporting scientific research and promoting a solid culture of scholarly publishing.
